The Volcano Goddesses are an ongoing portrait series honoring womxn that are transforming the world. During this time of worldwide pandemic and stark inequity, I am witness and accomplice to womxn in action. We are responding by organizing mutual aid, demonstrating and educating for racial justice, speaking our truth, and demanding change. Each goddess represents someone I deeply admire. Many of them I know personally, some I have never met, but each has made a mark on my life and is changing the world for us all.
